Many people wonder if they or their child have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Especially with the rise of awareness about this disorder, more and more people are seeking testing for ADHD. Often, people will go to their primary care doctor or therapist and fill out a short questionnaire. While this may clue you in to a possible diagnosis, it can be invaluable to seek an in-depth evaluation from a licensed psychologist.
During your evaluation, the professional will conduct testing and thorough interviews. You will have a follow-up session where the psychologist will share your results and give you a copy of their in-depth report and conclusions. This report will include evidence-based treatments and give you guidance on how to receive support.
For some, including students, a letter can be included that can be used to seek accommodations in schooling/tests.

Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder that affects social interaction, communication, and learning. Autism symptoms generally appear in the first few years of life, however, it can be diagnosed at any time. We are skilled at diagnosing autism spectrum disorder in a wide range of ages from toddlers to adults. We use a variety of assessments and tools to gather as much information as possible and make an accurate diagnosis. There is a lot of support available for those with ASD, and most services require a formal diagnosis.
You may have been told by your child's pediatrician that you should get your child tested for autism. Or you may have been searching on social media and wondered if you have autism. It truly is a spectrum, and it is important to seek a qualified, experienced professional to conduct your testing and give you an accurate diagnosis.
After your evaluation, you will receive a lengthy report with scores and summary of all the information collected. You will receive the results and specific recommendations and accommodations needed to give you the support you need and achieve emotional well-being. You will be connected with resources for treatment. During this feedback session, you will be able to ask clarifying questions and receive guidance.
